We are looking for someone who can perform repairs and maintenance duties on a wide variety of kitchen and refrigeration equipment, who can work with us. Some of the equipment includes:
- Walk-in freezers
- Industrial-sized steam cookers
- Refrigerators
- Ice machines
- Washers
- Ovens
- Dryers
- Dishwashers
- Water cooler
What you will have to do?
- Carry out periodic inspection, cleaning, and equipment servicing.
- Log into the work order management system to find, accept, and complete the work requests.
- Carry out installation of new equipment; perform repairs on leaks; ensure settings of wiring controls; change equipment parts that have become old or defective.
- Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems.
- Attend quickly to emergency calls on equipment repair issues, as well as to after work hour calls.
- Perform other duties the supervisor may assign.
What we're looking for?
- Profound knowledge of how various types of kitchen equipment work.
- Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and to follow manuals on operation and installation to successfully complete tasks.
- Strong ability to apply various types of equipment safely and efficiently, and to maintain and service them.
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision and take responsibility for the repair of assigned equipment.
- Investigate problems with food equipment, discover the issue, and correct it.
- Ability to work in a team setting with other maintenance workers, and with staff and members of the public.
- Ability to quickly understand and carry out both written and oral instructions effectively.
- Basic computer skills.
- Repair and maintenance experience in the commercial kitchen or dining service field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing repair and installation practice and procedure.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory, and safety.

Recruitment Process and Timeline
First, you apply, and our talent attraction team will review your profile. If your profile matches our requirements, you will receive a link to schedule a meeting with a recruiter at your convenience. This meeting is an opportunity for you to share more about yourself and for us to get to know you better.
If you are shortlisted, you will meet with our hiring managers. Depending on the role and its requirements, you may need to attend 2-3 interview rounds. These rounds could include a case study, role-play, trial assignment, or live coding session, which will be communicated to you in the initial conversation.
Upon successful completion of the interview rounds, your recruiter will contact you to discuss the offer. We aim to complete this process within 2-3 weeks.
